EXTRAORDINARY NEWS FROM ENGLAND with a sobering lesson for the USA…
The British Government, which wanted intervention in Syria, has been defeated in a debate on the matter in Parliament by 285 to 272.
The prime minister, who SUPPORTS intervention states, “It is very clear to me the British parliament, reflecting the view of the British people, does not want see military action. I get that and the Government will act accordingly.”
In other words, based on the votes of the Representative of the People – reflecting the will of the people for once – military intervention by a significant Western power has been stopped by the proper workings of Representative Democracy.
Over to us, America: now let’s see if we’re really a Constitutional Republic – or a Monarchy in all but name.
